Craft Swap???

Well I'm having sooo much fun blog-hoppping and making new friends.  I am curious about craft swaps.  Are there "craft clubs"?  Any info would be appreciated.  I would love to be involved in a swap.  I don't even know how to do an ATC exchange!  I'm a newbie to ALL this blog & web craft stuff, several of the blogs I've been to have all sorts of fun things to do, I just don't know HOW to get involved.

love the butterfly! I am NOT a crafter or artist however I have been involved in several swaps just by cruising around and entering the challenges by commenting! That's all there is!Once I entered a magazine swap and I sent a magazine to Germany!I recieved 2 back..even though I don't understand the print the photos are delicious! Best of luck in your future swaps! hugs NG
Another great benefit is the connections and friendships established!

Hi Rowan, There's a great place to see and join ATC swaps at atcards.com. You have to join; they have a free area and a pay area. It's a lot of fun and there's so many different ATC swaps that a person can get involved in. Love you site. Angelina

I host a group called the Sisters of the Secret Fatbook Society. We started out swapping Chunky book pages, but now we swap charms, atcs and paper dolls. We are constantly adding more to our swap agenda. If you would like to join it's free and easy. Just visit the yahoo group and join. there you will have access to photos and conversation and a lovely group of supportive fellow artists from around the world. Hugs-Kari

There are craft clubs, both local and international. I head up one here in central IL, but there are lots on yahoo that center around different crafts. (I'm in one for doll clothes and one for miniature foods.) As far as swaps go, there is http://www.swap-bot.com/
where a LOT of swaps are hosted and I run a website
http://swapdex.blogspot.com/
where I index swaps that aren't hosted on swap-bot. Some swaps are one-point where everyone sends to the host and the host swaps out and sends to everyone their items. And some are multi-point, where everyone has partner(s) and they send to them individually. I encourage you to try one out!
